In this study, we report high-precision vanadium (V) isotopic compositions of 11 unequilibrated and equilibrated L chondrites. Our samples show an average \u03b451V of \u2212\u20091.25\u2030\u2009\u00b1\u20090.38\u2030 (2SD, n\u2009=\u200911), which is ~\u20090.5\u2030 lighter than that of the bulk silicate Earth constrained by mantle peridotites. Isotopic fractionation in type 3 ordinary chondrites vary from \u2212\u20091.76\u2030 to \u2212\u20091.29\u2030, whereas the \u03b451V of equilibrated chondrites vary from \u2212\u20091.37\u2030 to \u2212\u20091.08\u2030. \u03b451V of L chondrites do not correlate with thermal metamorphism, shock stage, or weathering degree.
