The ~300-gram meteorite (DN250711_02) was found about 400 kilometres north-east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder by Curtin University PhD students Dale Giancono (finder), Iona Clemente and Michael Frazer in the calculated 3 km by 0.5 km fall area in late November 2025 using the DFN AI-assisted drone search method with a new software. After checking on 700 hundred of the drone-detected 728 possible meteorite candidates they found the meteorite in the late afternoon of the sixth and last search day of the eight-day search expedition. The atmospheric trajectory of the bolide had been calculated using five DFN cameras. Another successful search campaign of the Desert Fireball Network.
