Desert chondrites show mercury concentrations between 2.2\u2009ng g\u22121 and 156.8\u2009ng g\u22121, with \u03b4202Hg ranging from \u22123.69\u2030 to 1.19\u2030. \u0394199Hg and \u0394201Hg vary from \u22120.23\u2030 to \u22120.02\u2030 and \u22120.2\u2030 to 0.02\u2030, respectively, showing a weak positive correlation among these parameters (slope 0.74\u2009\u00b1\u20090.24, R2\u2009=\u20090.46). These Hg concentrations and isotopic composition data of desert chondrites indicate that Hg in desert chondrites has been altered due to terrestrial processes in addition to evaporation loss during its terrestrial residence period. Antarctic chondrites exhibit mercury concentrations from 8.0\u2009ng g\u22121 to 3940.8\u2009ng g\u22121, with \u03b4202Hg from \u22122.51\u2030 to 1.16\u2030. \u0394199Hg and \u0394201Hg range from \u22120.83\u2030 to \u22120.05\u2030 and \u22120.71\u2030 to 0.10\u2030, with a significant correlation (slope 0.93\u2009\u00b1\u20090.15, R2\u2009=\u20090.76), likely influenced by Antarctic snow that has experienced significant photochemical processes during atmospheric mercury depletion events (AMDEs) and has elevated mercury content (such as drifted snow). Jilin meteorite&#8217;s \u03b4202Hg, \u0394199Hg, and \u0394201Hg vary between \u22123.74\u2030 to \u22121.79\u2030, \u22120.12\u2030 to 0.09\u2030, and \u22120.12\u2030 to \u22120.01\u2030, respectively. A weak positive correlation between \u0394199Hg and \u0394201Hg (slope 1.45\u2009\u00b1\u20090.28, R2\u2009=\u20090.67) suggests localized Hg evaporation due to shock processes on the parent body; however, Hg isotopic heterogeneity from nebular or parent body processes cannot be excluded.
