Moodini Bluff to Middini Beach, Madura, Dundas Shire, Western Australia search area for potential meteorite fall on 1 July 2017 at 09:41:41 (UTC) published by DFN
The Desert Fireball Network (DFN) has released data to enable a public search for meteorites which are supposed to have fallen on 1 July 2017 at 09:41:41 (UTC) around location 32°07’21.8″S, 127°21’41.1″E. It has been calculated that fragments between 10 and 100 grams, totalling ~0.2 kg, can be found in the area south of the Eyre Highway, off the track to Middini beach. The track between Moodini Bluff and Middini Beach crosses the fall line. Potential searchers are asked to read the disclaimer below.
