Ejby meteorites – Danekræ financial compensation paid – Ejby meteorite exhibition
According to a press release of the Statens Naturhistoriske Museum, published on 10 February 2017, the 15 official finders of Ejby meteorites are going to be paid 2 million Danish kroner (~ 286,000 dollars) as financial compensation for the 8937.78 grams of meteorites and meteorite fragments handed over to the authorities according to the danekræ * law. For the first time all the officially registered Ejby meteorites and meteorite fragments are on display together at the Geologisk Museum during the winter holidays (7th and 8th calender week).
